Case: Diana, a general manager working for Alpha Consultancy Limited has lost her diamond ring. She then placed an advertisement on A Plus Newspaper on Ist July 2022 which read: "LOST, diamond ring, photos attached, HK$25,000 reward for return. Money deposited with Standard Chartered Bank to show the sincerity and intention for award". Adrian read the Ist July 2022 advertisement and began to search for the diamond ring. The diamond ring was a gift given to Diana by her husband called Marcel. Unfortunately, Marcel becomes attached to another woman called Orchid and Diana decided to get divorced. Diana then placed a second advertisement on 6th July 2022 in the same newspaper, cancelling the reward. However, Adrian did not read the second advertisement. On 8th July 2022, Adrian found the diamond ring and decided to bring the diamond ring back to Diana.
