On May 9, Ron contacts Cleansweep Moving because he needs to move from his house in San Jose to San Francisco the first week of June. Ron saw a Cleansweep Moving advertising flyer, which showed a wide range of services and good testimonials from customers. Ron has also consulted other movers, but Ron is impressed by the flyer. He also wants Cleansweep Moving to examine all the items for the estimate because he wants Cleansweep Moving to pack them as needed. Cleansweep comes and says the work should only take one day, and Cleansweep should provide the estimate by phone in a few days. But Ron calls Cleansweep Moving manager on May 25 and asks if Cleansweep is still going to do the job since it has not yet provided the price. Cleansweep Moving manager promises the work will start on June 2 and Cleansweep will provide the estimate soon. Ron is happy when Cleansweep employees come on June 2 and start packing. The next morning, Cleansweep Moving takes everything in the house to San Francisco, move the items in and hand Ron the bill for $5,000. Ron calls Cleansweep Moving manager and says the price it is much higher than the estimates he had gotten from two other moving companies closer to $3000. Cleansweep manager says this is because they had to use special packaging for Ron's artwork, sculptures and paintings, which took additional time and required special expertise. The manager says their expertise is described in the advertising flyer that Ron had seen. Is there a contract? Does Ron have to pay $5,000? Anything? Explain.
