This assignment requires that you write-up the relationship of the advertising responses and the questions sought. Detailed explanations need to be provided.

From current magazines, identify one advertisement that has exceptionally high stopping power (attention), one that has exceptionally high pulling power (interest), and one that has exceptionally high locking power (memory). Make copies of these ads to turn in. Which of them are mainly emotional and focused on feelings? Which are focused on building a brand or creating associations? Do any of them do a great job of creating action? Choose what you believe to be the most effective ad in your entire collection. Why did you choose this one and what can you learn from it about effective advertising?

Make photocopies, print, and include as an attachment to the assignment. Up to two on-line ads are acceptable if you provide the full URL in the Blackboard uploaded document.
