Situation 1

Below are the following four situations, identify the type of scale (Nominal, scale or ordinal) needed for each situation and justify your answer

1. Manager has given the task to the internal researcher of his organization to measure the satisfaction level of all the employees in his organization. The researcher wants to use a three-point or five-point Likert scale to measure the satisfaction level of all employees.

2. Rank the five characteristics in a job in terms of how important they are for you. You should rank the most important item as 1, the next in importance as 2, and so on.

3. Researcher is interested to know employees' country origin in Kabul-based Non-governmental organizations. He wants to know how many from America, how many from Afghanistan, and how many from other different countries.

4. You as a researcher want to analyze whether working capital management has any significant effect on organization profitability in terms of return on asset and return on equity? What kind of data will you use in this case and what would be the scale in this case?
