The hysteroscope was inserted, and using hydro-distension, it was advanced into the uterus untilthe uterine cavity was seen. A survey of the uterine cavity demonstrated the above-mentioned findings. The scope was removed. Gentlesystematic curettage was then performed and adequate tissue was collected Allinstruments were removed from the vagina. Silvernitrate was appliedto the tenaculum sites on the cervix and hemostasis assured. Allcounts were correct at the end of the case, and she was discharged to recovery in stablecondition.
