Homework: ATOMIC HABITS- James Clear
This homework has two parts:
First you need to watch, on YOUTUBE, an interview with James Clear, author of
Atomic Habits: How Tiny Changes Create Remarkable Results.
There are many that you can watch - interviews, cartoon versions of hismost basic ideas, interpretations, testimonials, and short summaries of his book andcore principles- by various commentators. However, the one I want you to watch is the London Realinterview, which I believe is a good representation of his concepts;it covers quite clearly (no pun intended) his main points. A link to the interview is included in the homework,
Second, AFTER you have watched the interview, please answer the following three questions:
Question A. Identify at least two ideas/concepts that surprised, interested, struck you as important/meaningfulto you. Please explain why you have chosen them, giving a SPECIFIC reason for each of your choices,
Question B. How might some of these ideas/concepts assist you in meeting your personal goals in life. Be SPECIFIC...if you already use any of these habits, share how they are helpful/useful to you.
Question C. Address which two of Clear's ideas/concepts you would like to try and see how they might assist you in meeting some of your personal health and wellness goals. Try to imagine if you did succeed in mastering the habits you chose, how it would feel.Describe the affectyour new habit(s) could have on your choices...what outcomes might you expect from developing this new habit/approach.
