Assessment Outline

The purpose of this assessment is to communicate the value of your idea to your target market. The pitch will address one of the enterprise-level industry problems presented as the part of the unit.

Within this assessment task you will individually create an initial pitch for your teams assigned project idea and problem statement. This will be the first pitch that you will create for this unit and it will be to express your ideas/solutions to the teams about the team project that you have been assigned.

This pitching activity will be a shorter version of the final pitch which your team will be presented at the end of the unit, as the purpose of this pitch is to express your ideas to your team.

To meet the requirements for this pitch you will be require to:
- Produce at Slide Deck (e.g. powerpoint slides) consisting of atleast one slide for each of the 5 points outlined below.
- Record either a video of you presenting your slides (the slides must be on screen also) OR a narrated PowerPoint (or equivalent) of your presentation
- Your presentation should not exceed Smins in length. Slide Deck and Pitch Content

In order to complete the requirements for the content of your Pitch, you will need to create a slide deck that will consist of five(5) sections
which are detailed below. A slide deck is a series of presentation slides that can be used to convey information and content to an audience.

For this pitch your required content includes the following sections:

1) The Vision / Value proposition
- This section should include a short (one sentence) statement about the unique value that your solution can provide to the target market, customer or audience.

2) The Problem
- This section should include a clear outline of the problem that you are trying to solve and who is affected by this problem. This section could include a story about why solving this problem is important and the change it could bring.

3) The Market
- This section should explain who your ideal or target customer is, it should include information such as how big this market is. It is important to note that the market might be broken into several segments to which your solution might appeal to all or just a subset, this might mean that you adjust your solution slightly for the different subsets.

4) The Solution
- This section should clearly outline, define and describe the product or service that you are suggesting as the solution to your problem statement.
- Within this aection you should talk about how your customers would be expected to use your product and how it addresses the problem that you have outlined.
- You can feel free to use images or sketches within this section to help illustrate your solution.

5) The Competition
- This section should outline how your solution will fit into the current market or with the current competition. Within this section you will need to clearly outline how your solution is different/better than the current competition and why customers would move to your solution.
- This section can also be where you can include information about what customers would be happy to pay for your product based on current solutions.
