1. Research and find two or more papers that specifically address estimating the modulation within an unknown radar pulse or series of pulses

2. Select one paper to dig into deeper

3. Simulate the algorithm described in the paper you select by coding the algorithm in Matlab

4. Generate a series of pulses with different pulse modulations. Theses must include at least unmodulated CW pulses, LFM pulses and Barker length 5, 7, 11, and 13 codes encoded as phase shifts on a carrier within the pulses. Verify your algorithms on the pulses or series of pulses. You are trying to correctly identify the modulation format used for the pulse train. Initially do not include noise to demonstrate how many correct associations and incorrect associations you get over a number of trials.

5. Add noise to the pulses and compute the SNR. Test you technique on pulses and determine the correct vs. incorrect classification with noise with decreasing SNR values until the algorithms fail. Note this value.

You are to include the original paper you used as a basis as well as a complete professional report, power point slides to do a presentation to class. You must also include your working Matlab code.
