In my opinion, indeed, the world is not getting smaller; it is getting faster. Consequently, global managers need to be able to adapt to changing environments and make fast decisions. Moreover, they should be able to communicate effectively with people from all over the world. Increasingly, the world is becoming more connected, and this trend will continue. The technology of today makes it possible for people to stay in touch and communicate with each other from any place in the world. A successful business must therefore be able to operate globally. Global managers need to understand the different cultures and norms of the countries where they do business. We live in a world that is constantly changing, and global managers need to be able to adapt to those changes.
