Purpose Statement

The purpose of this action qualitative phenomenology study is to examine ways to implement safety measures to prevent risk to healthcare personnel. To revise how managers are trained in safety guidelines and how to deal with workplace violence. The study will concentrate on several healthcare organizations in the Atlanta area and look at the safety protocols that are designed for the facility. Interviewing healthcare personnel who experience safety violations or workplace violence. The study will also include surveys, focus groups, and literature reviews. To examine ways in which safety risks and workplace violence can be prevented. The results from this study will help practitioners better understand the seriousness of potential safety risks and the importance of improved training to help prevent injury and save healthcare personnel's lives.
