Some define courage as the ability to act effectively under pressure in calm way. However, I think courage is an act that separate between heroes and cowards.

Introduction:

Courage is the state of mind that enable one to face fear, danger, and difficulty. Some define courage as the ability to act effectively under pressure in calm way. However, I think courage is an act that separate the heroes from cowards. According to Clare Booth Luce,"Courage is the ladder on which all the other virtues mount." In order for one to be courageous, one has to be able to face fear, has determination, and willing to sacrifice.
