The focus of this TMA is on application of acquired knowledge in marketing and marketing research.

Your company is a diversified packaged food company that is keen to introduce a new line of nutritious baby food in Singapore. As their Marketing Manager, you are tasked to make recommendations whether they should do so.

Question 1

Discuss how marketing research could be applied to the different facets of the marketing mix (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) as research questions to understand the potential for a new line of Baby Food.

Question 2

Conduct a desk research into "Packaged Foods" in Singapore 2021, using the "Passport" edatabase available on SUSS's e-library. Examine "Passport' as a secondary data source and prepare a proposal to justify if your company should launch the new line of Baby Food.

Question 3

Discuss how you would use focus groups to help you understand preferences for baby food.
