An individual's career is an accumulation of work-related experiences that this person has participated in during his or her working life. This accumulation of experiences is influenced by both the organisation that recruited, trained and promoted the person, as well as the individual who brought his or her unique abilities and motivation to the workplace. In light of the above, discuss how you would apply all the career principles (career theories, career and life stages, career anchors, and career patterns) to your own life and career.

Question 2.

The development of employees are key processes available to organisations to meet their strategic goals and to remain competitive in the global marketplace. While organisations endeavour to recruit the most skilled and competent employees, these employees are seldom able to perform at their full potential without continued training, learning, and development throughout the duration of their careers. She has appointed you to investigate the way forward and tasked you to compile a report. In your report, you need to address the following:

a. Differentiate between training, learning and skills development.

b. Explain the role of training evaluation and utility analysis in ensuring the quality of training or learning and skills development programmes. You can make use of diagrams.
