The entrepreneur takes the future into their own hands and does not rely on finding a job. This independence comes with the acceptance of responsibility and risk. Today's exercise is to explore the entrepreneur within you! Instructions:

Please answer the following questions in a Word document. In answering, apply some of the concepts from Chapter 6 (Forms of Business Ownership) & Chapter 7 (Entrepreneurship) in your OER text.

1. If you had to start a company, what kind of company would you start?

2. What are the reasons you would choose this business - Are you passionate about it? Will it be easy to become profitable? Another reason?

3. Where might you operate from and where/how would you sell your goods or services?

4. What skills might help you succeed?

5. What would be the biggest barrier(s) or difficulties if you were to start this business tomorrow?

6. How would you overcome the barriers or difficulties you listed above?
