Question
1. Design a questionnaire that will provide important information about the needs and interests of the families served by your program. You will be using the information to plan a parent meeting.
2. Distribute the questionnaire to families in your program (at least 10 must be surveyed).
You might want to let them know that you are doing this for an assignment so it's very important for you to have the questionnaires returned promptly.
3. Tabulate the results of your questionnaire.
4. Use the results of the questionnaire to plan an agenda for a parent meeting. Your agenda must be very specific. For example, you must clearly identify the components of the meeting (e.g. icebreaker activity, the main content, the wrap-up), and identify any guest speakers, AV materials and other specific resource materials you may provide. Describe the refreshments you will provide and any special accommodations you will make (e.g., care for children while families attend the meeting). You must also indicate the time the meeting will start and end and where you will hold the meeting.
5. Send all the completed questionnaires, your tabulated results, and your agenda to your instructor.
