Respond with a friendly comment? My name is Jacky and I live is Westchester, IL. I graduated from nursing school last year in May and haven't started working yet. I'm hoping to work in aesthetics in the future or working in the ICU to hopefully go into the CRNA path if possible. My most memorable moment in nursing school was when I shadowed a nurse in the clinic in my hometown and gave shots to children. Nursing is an art and science and I feel showing compassion is sometimes forgotten when you have so many tasks to do. I learned that you need to remember to put yourself in each patient's shoes because they are experiencing something in a totally different point of view than the nurse or other healthcare professional. This also applies to taking care and educating their family memebers. I'm looking forward to starting this semester and learning along with you all.
