We have had many discussions in class about outsourcing to third parties in the supply chain and how this trend is increasing more and more. Particulary with international companies like Nike and Apple who are looking to focus on their core competencies and reduce capital. When you take into account the growing need for companies to focus on Sustainability, by managing the impact they have on both ecological and social environments worldwide what challenges do you think these companies like Apple and Nike face as they try to enforce these principle while managing much of their supply chain with third party partners?
