AAA also paid legal fees and commissions related to the transaction of $70,000. The market value of the property at that date was estimated at $300,000. AAA had also entered into a contract with an independent construction company, in the amount of $40,000, to provide improvements to the building, to make it suitable for AAA's purposes.
