A tire holds air (assume it's all N2) at a pressure of 3 atm, and in one week the pressue drops by 1% because of inevitable leakage at the rim, when the temperature is 300 K. Calculate the area of the hole. [Hint: because the pressure change is small, you can assume the pressure to be 3 atm, even thought it DOES drop slightly over time] How many molecules have escaped the tire during the week?
