A spring on a rod hangs from the ceiling and has a 100kg collar attached to the other end, also riding on the rod. The collar is 3m below the ceiling. The collar is attached to a string that passes diagonally through a pulley near the ceiling height, 2m to the right of the spring. The string has a 135kg box hanging from it. Using the conservation of energy, solve for the velocity of the box and the collar when the box is released from rest and drops 1m.
