Given that the average power plant produces 667 MW of electricity per year, there are 492 coal plants in the US, and a solar constant of 1.361 KW/m^2, how large of an area would one need to cover with solar cells to replace our dependence on coal with solar power. Use a real world efficiency of 12% and assume that the solar array will only produce electricity during half of the day(no power at night). Put your answer in equivalent Rhode Island areas.
