A single phase bridge rectifier supplies 24 Vdc to a load resistance of 0.4 ohms and an inductance of 3 mH. The available ac supply is 240 V at 50 Hz. The forward voltage drop of each diode is 1 V while a diode conducts.
If the load current is not smooth and ripple free and the load requires that its ripple current due to the dominant load ripple voltage not to exceed 5% of the full load DC current, find the additional inductance that must be placed in series with the load
