A rigid 10m3 tank contains water initially at 120 C, with 60% liquid and 40%vapor by volume. A pressure-relief valve on the top of the tank is set to 1 MPa. The relief valve is connected to a turbine with an isentropic efficiency of 83% that exhausts to a pressure of 1 bar. Heat is transferred to the tank from a 200 C heat sourc until the tank contains only saturated vapor at 1 MPa.

a) Calculate the heat transfer to the tank.

b) Calculate the work done by the turbine.

c) Calculate the Sgen for the process.
