A reversible heat engine operating a 1500 F source and the atmosphere at 0 F produces work to drive a reversible heat pump. The heat pump is connected to the 0 F atmosphere and supplies the heating required to maintain a home at 70 F. The rate of heat transfer from the source is 100 kBtu/hr.
