A mixing chamber which is heated externally by hot air has two inlets and one exit. The water in each inlet and exit is at a pressure of 5 bar. Water enters through inlet 1 (d=6 cm) at 25oC with a mass flow rate of 5 kg/min . Water enters through inlet 2 (d=4 cm) at 100oC with a velocity is 10 m/min. Water exits the mixing chamber at 140oC through the exit pipe (d= 8 cm). Determine the rate of heat transfer into the mixing chamber and the mass flow rate at the exit.
