A mercury thermometer is free of all markings. The thermometer is placed in an ice bath. When the thermometer is in equilibrium with the ice bath the position of the mercury column is marked on the glass. The thermometer is then placed in boiling water. When the thermometer is in equilibrium with the boiling water, the position of the mercury column is 0.133 m from the first mark. How far from the first mark will the column of mercury be if the thermometer is in equilibrium with a room at 26 degrees Celsuis? Give your answer in metres to two significant figures.
