A manufacturer of paper products wants to compare the variation in daily production levels at two paper mills. Independent random samples of days are selected from each mill and the production levels (in units) recorded. A sample of 13 days at Mill #1 had a standard deviation of 8.36. A sample of 18 days at Mill #2 had a standard deviation of 4.85. Conduct a hypothesis test to determine if the variance at Mill #1 is significantly larger than the variance at Mill #2. Be sure to state your hypotheses, test statistic, degrees of freedom (if applicable), p-value, and your conclusion. Use ? = 0.05.
