A ladder is leaning against a wall by negligible friction. It is at an angle of 70 degrees to the horizontal, has a mass of 10kg and is 4 meters long. Its center of mass is 1/3 from the bottom end. What is the minimum coefficient of static friction to keep the ladder from sliding in this configuration? If a 75kg man climbs the ladder to the middle, will the ladder slip?
