A glass fiber reinforced (random orientation) polycarbonate polymer matrix composite has a density of 1.52 g/cm3. The density of E-glass used is 2.58 g/cm3 and that of the polycarbonate is 1.2 g/cm3. If the elasticity modulus of the component materials are: Eglass = 72.5 GPa and Epolycarb. = 2.27 GPa, find the conservative elasticity modulus for the composite.
