A galvanic cell consits of a cadmium cathode immersed in aCdSO4 solution and a zinc anode immerse in aZnSO4 solution. A salt bridge iconnects the twohalf-cells. Write a balanced equation.

Cadium is cathode so it's supposed to gain electrons andzinc anode sould lose electrons.But I'm not sure where tostart from (CdSO4 or just Cd? ZnSO4 or Zn?).And because new gained or lost charges are not given, how am Ispposed to know how many e- each loses or gains?
