Q1. In NYU's Diffraction and interference lab for general physics 2, what are the widths given on the slide with the double slits. On the lab manual it says they were given on the slide. I am doing this lab now and it is already late so i require finishing it this morning but I can't without that information. I've tried looking it up online but I can't find anything that will help me. I was hoping that maybe you guys have already completed something with this same lab.
Q2. Which subatomic particle is responsible for charges on an object? A deficit of this particle causes what charge? An excess causes what charge?
A good model for a radio antenna is a dipole. P1 is on the perpendicular bisector of the dipole, and P2 is along the axis of the dipole in the direction of dipole vector ˆp. P1 and P2 are both a distance 100m from the center of the dipole.
Two runners start simultaneously from the same point on the circular 200 m track and run in opposite directions. One runs at a constant speed of 6.14 m/s and the other runs at a constant speed of 5.43m/s. When they first meet, for how long a time ..
A 72 person stands on a uniform ladder 4.5 long, that weighs 75. The floor is rough; hence, it exerts both a normal force, and a frictional force, on the ladder. The wall, on the other hand, is frictionless; it exerts only a normal force.
Evaluate with the strength of the earth's gravity at its surface, how much weaker is gravity at a distance of 10 earth's center.
How long does it take for amplitude to drop to half its initial value . How long does it take for mechanical energy to drop to half its initial value.
Angular acceleration and angular displacement of the rotor using the equation of motion in rotational dynamics.
What is velocity curve between two times
What is the magnitude of displacement
Use this technique to find formula for the intensity of a sound, in terms of sound level and the reference intensity. There will be a quantity involved in the calculations. When you enter your answer, leave off the unit.
What is the third fragment right after the explosion
A 43kg block of ice slides down the frictionless incline 1.50m long and 0.82m high. A worker pushes up against the ice, parallel to the incline, so that the block slides down at constant speed.
A child's toy consists of a piece of plastic attached to a spring. The spring is compressed against the floor a distance of 2.0 cm and released. If the spring constant is 85 N/m, what is the magnitude of spring force acting on the toy at the moment i..
