A cyclist is traveling at 8m/s when she encounters a hill with 2% grade (assume the elevation increases by 2' for every 100' of travel). The hill is 1 mile long and she maintains her speed. They cyclist and her bike in combination are 60kg. The combination of rolling resistance and drag is given as:

F=2.35 + .194v^2 (Newtons)

A) How much energy is required to climb the hill?

B) How much time is required to climb the hill?
