A consumer testing agency obtains 4 cars randomly from each of the folliwng three makers: 1, 2, 3. We wish to compare gasoline efficincy of the cars produced by the three makers. Suppose the mean measurements for the three makers are 5.1, 6.2, 4.6, respecitively and the sum of squares for error(SSe) is 2.3.

C1 = U2-U3,

C2= U2-U3-2(U1)

1. Use the LSD method to report the 95% confidence inteval for C1 and C2 respectively

2. Use Bonferroni's method to report the confidence interval for C1 and C2 respectively with overall confidence level at least 95%
