Sustainable Waste Water Management Alternatives

Report : Evaluating low-cost waste water management options at the property scale.

The costs associated with large, centralized waste water treatment facilities is significant, and can be prohibitive for small communities (e.g., towns, villages, rural areas). This has necessitated the development of alternative sanitation systems and methods to treat waste water, at different scales.

Based on a literature review, present

1. A comparative evaluation of property/site scale (household or commercial enterprise) waste water treatment systems and their feasibility in terms of cost and any other relevant factors you identify.

2. A table containing a short, descriptive inventory of these systems.

3. Based on your evaluation, recommendations should be made on the most feasible system(s) based on the factors you identified above.

Your report should be 1200-1400 words long (not including references), written in 12-pt font, double- spaced. You may include images or data visualization where needed.

Bold your thesis statement and the topic sentence of each paragraph. Use Headings and/or a Table of Contents to organize your report.
All references should be cited in the text and a list of references provided at the end (i.e. APA style).
