A company wishes to reduce its air conditioning cost by cooling 100cubic feet of a metallic heat sink during the night to -10 degreesCelsius, when electrical cost are lowest. Then during the next day,air would be circulated through the previously cooled metallic heatsink to provide the cooled air for the building at a temperature of25 degrees Celsius. Materials under consideration are: copper, iron, and nickel.

a) How much heat could each of the sinks absorb?

b) Which material will supply the most cooling for the building air conditioning system?
