A charged particle leaves the origin with a speed of 2.91 x 106 m/s at an angle of 33° above the x axis. A uniform electric field, given by = -E0, exists throughout the region.

(a) Find E0 such that the particle will cross the x axis at x = 1.46 cm if the particle is an electron. 

(b) Find E0 such that the particle will cross the x axis at x = 1.46 cm if the particle is a proton.
