A Business Case: Royal Gloves Inc
Instructions:
Develop a set of Marketing Objectives that Royal Gloves will use as the base of its new campaign to increase the performance of its product. Make sure that you use the detailed SMART approach.
You are the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Royal Gloves Inc. Royal Gloves just finished finalizing the production of winter gloves for both men and women that can withstand temperatures up to -60 degrees Celsius. What makes Royal Gloves so special is their ability to retain heat, be fully waterproof, and in addition, keep hands soft and dry.
In its first quarter of sales, Royal Gloves did not sell as well as expected. The customers that purchased the product gave very positive feedback, which leads you to think that there is not a problem with the product itself, but perhaps with its marketing campaign. Since Royal Gloves launched without a marketing budget (the CEO believed that the product would "sell itself to consumers"), you decide to create a business proposal in which you will outline marketing objectives that the company should strive to meet.
