A Brayton cycle operates with inlet air at 14 psi and 80F. The turbine inlet temperature is 1800 F and the pressure ratio is five. Using specific heats evaluated at the inlet temperature, and cp = constant theory, find (a) the turbine work, (b) the compressor work, (c) the thermal efficiency of the cycle.
