Homework: Assess a Contemporary Ethical Dilemma

Background

Each year, researchers identify top ethical and moral issues in that year's current workplace. Some common items on this list include harassment, bullying, employee theft, and violating company Internet policies. Ethical issues and dilemmas surface due to inappropriate or nonstandard behavior. This behavior ranges from sarcasm and emotional outbursts and could have dangerous results (Franklin & Guerber, 2020).

As a member of your organization's Ethics task force, you have been asked to present an ethics training to your organization and to create a quiz allowing employees to show what they learned from this training.

Instructions

Research the top 5 ethical violations in the United States. For this homework, prepare notes for your training with the employees. Begin with a brief background on defining an ethical dilemma while keeping in mind that your organization has a code of conduct to consider. Develop a PowerPoint that explains the current 5 major ethical violations in the U.S. Include examples for each violation. Video record this presentation using the Kaltura tool or PPT video and your prepared notes.

In addition to your video, create a 5-question quiz in Survey Monkey demonstrating the employee's understanding of the presentation. Imagine your learner watching the presentation and then needing to complete a quick survey on what they just watched. Include a Word document with the 5 questions and the working link to Survey Monkey. No references are needed for this.
