A 1kg mass connected to a horizontal spring of stiffness 1,031 N/m has a dry-sliding friction force, of 2 N. The mass is displaced from equilibrium. As the mass oscillates, its amplitude decreases a total of 0.1 m until it finally stops moving. How long does this take from when the mass was initially released until it stops? Give the answer in seconds.
