Topic is so the idea is having a portable batteries in electric cars.
The usual battery in the electric cars sits below the seats. They are large and come in rectangular shape mostly. Those batteries with huge capacity take much longer time to charge. Hence having a portable battery with considerable charge capacity can come in handy when you go on a long trip and not able to find charging stations.
You can simply change the battery pull from regular battery to portable battery to cover extra distance. This battery can charge relatively quick due to the small capacity it holds, and you can even swap it out for another battery if you have multiple batteries.
This idea is similar to what we used to have in our mobiles 3/4 years ago, those days we were having removable batteries. Advantage of having a removable batteries are it is easy to swap in a fully charged battery at any time instead of waiting for mobiles to charge, which usually takes long time those days when we dint had fast charging options. Now we have fast charge and no mobiles come with removable battery.
