Task: You have decided to start a small business in your local city. However, you are not clear on key concepts such as: the 7Ps of marketing, Segmentation, targeting and positioning and market research and how they relate to the small business you are starting up in your local city. You have been requested to undertake some research and write an individual report on the following issues:
Your individual report should include:
• A brief discussion of the business you intend to start up in your main city
• Detailed Marketing Mix for the business you intend to start up in your main city (7 P's for the business)
• Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning of your business (for business in your main city)
• Importance of Market Research for the business
• Recommendations for the business (for your main city operation- based on your marketing mix, STP and market research)
• (individual reports must be submitted by the deadline dates indicated on Aula)
