Choosing a case study - Choose one of the four case studies presented on the Canvas site, available in the Assessment Resources module. The four case studies are:

Case Study 1: BusRider

Case Study 2: AllSeasons

Case Study 3: EasyTicket

Case Study 4: GlobalAid

You will perform your analysis and modelling for this assignment based on the case study you have chosen.

Assignment requirements - All of the requirements below relate to your chosen case study. It is expected that you perform additional research and investigation, in addition to the information provided in the case study, to inform your reasoning and analysis. Explanation, justification, and evidence is expected to support report contents wherever relevant.

1. System vision or business case

A 1-page system vision or business case that covers the following aspects:

a. Problem description

b. System capabilities - high-level requirements and constraints

c. Anticipated business benefits

2. Stakeholder analysis

The stakeholder analysis should cover the following aspects:

a. Identification and description of relevant stakeholders

b. Analysis and classification of these stakeholders

3. Rich picture

Create a rich picture to explore, describe, and model the situation.

4. Event table

Create an event table. This should cover all elements required in an event table and comprehensively cover the meaningful events and interactions for the system being described. As a rough guide, it is expected that there should be between 15-25 meaningful events in your event table, depending upon the case study chosen and the level of complexity.

Note that trivial events and interactions, such as 'log on', 'log off', 'create account', etc, will not be assessed.

5. Context diagram

Create a Context Diagram for the system.

6. Assumptions

List and briefly explain all assumptions that you have made regarding the case study for your assignment.

If you (somehow) have no assumptions, explain and justify why you have no assumptions.

7. References

List all references used in your report. Do not list any references that are not directly referred to in your report. The references should be presented in Harvard Style.

Note - The report must not exceed 16 A4 pages in length. This page count includes figures, tables, diagrams, and references. This page count does not include the cover sheet (as this is to be submitted as a separate file).
