Case Title: Without Further Delay (reading case)
Objective: This case is intended to develop effective skills in scheduling and related issues and problems, and how to identify and deal with these problems.
Case Information: The case is listed as a requirement in the syllabus, and described in the textbook on pages 345-347. You are required to carefully read the case facts as a team, analyze it, and develop solutions for the questions on the case.
Tasks -
1) Review the case facts, and optionally read relevant content and materials from resources available in the University library.
2) Write your answers to the questions as a report, with the following parts and format:
i. Brief/executive summary of the facts of the case (one-two paragraphs/less than half a page).
ii. Separate answer for each question in the case, supported by strong arguments and relevant theories.
iii. Conclusions, lessons to be learned, and recommendations (implications) for project management.
Notes/Additional Requirements: Report size should be between 2-3 pages. Report should be properly structured and organized. Sources and references used should be cited and listed in a separate section.

Question 2: List all the methods for recovering in the article from scheduling delays.
Question 3: In the sidebar "Prevention is the Best Medicine," which strategy seems the most important? Which is second most important? Why?
Question 4: The article states that stakeholders push to start the project work quickly rather than spend the time planning. What would this have resulted in for the earlier PMIP "Massachusetts' Instant Bridges" sidebar?
