Machine Language

Machine level language is important thing, which is understood only by the computer in the form of binary digits 0 and 1. The instruction given in binary 0 and 1 is called machine level language. The language in which the computer works is called object language or machine language. Machine codes are also known as object codes.

It is very difficult to write a program in machine level language and also not easy for the programmers to write the instruction in binary code. Suppose, if in the program, there is some error(s), and then it is very difficult task to the programmer. So the machine level language is not portable. Every computer has its own machine instructions. So the programs written for one computer is not portable for other computer.

Advantages and disadvantages of using machine language:

2. Difficult to write program

3. Error prone

4. Difficult to modify
