Conductors
From above we know that the Conductors are materials which have a low value of resistivity letting them to easily pass an electrical current because of there being plenty of free electrons floating about within the basic atom structure of them. When the positive voltage potential is applied to material these "free electrons" leave their parent atom and travel collectively through the material forming the electron drift. Examples of good conductors are generally metals like Aluminium, Copper, Silver or non metals like Carbon because these materials have very few electrons in their outer "Valence Shell" or ring, resulting in them being easily knocked out of atom's orbit. This lets them flow freely through the material until they join up with the other atoms, creating a "Domino Effect" through the material thus creating an electrical current.
Generally, most metals are good conductors of the electricity, as they have small resistance values, generally in the region of micro-ohms per meter with the resistivity of conductors increasing with the temperature because metals are also usually good conductors of heat.
