This SDN is mainly based on the open flow protocol. This open flow architecture isbased on the local area networks. Here, the data plane and control panel will be decoupled. Itmainly decouples to change the forwarding policy and the devices will be reconfigured. Thecontrol of the SDN will move out from the network nodes and it will be pushed to thecontroller. The SDN switches will be controlled by the operating system of the network.Hence, open flow architecture will be designed for the LAN without using any mechanism.Here, the link protection method will be used to decrease the recovery time of networkfailures. The backup path will be calculated by the controller. Switches will perform therecovery options locally. It will avoid the controller intervention in the recovery process.
