Systems like as portfolio alignment, risk management and system engineeringcan further act as relevant problem solving techniques to support the relevance of the systemthinking approach. However, to integrate the reliability and authenticity of the study, a real lifecase study will be selected which is nothing but the case study of BP’s Deepwater Horizon OilSpill and Offshore Drilling Report. This however will offer an illustrated view about how theapproach will add value for project managers for accomplishing the business objectives andaccordingly avoid all kinds of unintended consequences. The advantages of all these applicationswill be described with application of system management, significance of the approach, programand portfolio alignment at managerial levels.
