The XYZ Hypermarket has their headoffice in Muscat. In addition to the above discussion, the concerned Hypermarket wished tospread its branches as new stores in Nizwa, Sur along with Sohar. Therefore, in addition to theabove discussion, there are several issues faced by the Chief Information Officer of XYZ Group. However, these issues further comprised of the management of time, application of modernsoftware, time scale, time frame requirements and other such implications that were creatingbarriers in order to link the new setup branch with the main head office at Muscat. Thefollowing management of the project deals with the identification of the issues faced in orderto set the new branch of XYZ Hypermarket in the above mentioned cities. Thus, the informationcollected in the following proposal plan deals mainly with the issues that may rise formaintaining the stability of interconnection between the sub branch and the head office of XYZHypermarket. The requirements of specified interconnected networks have been furtherdiscussed for the mitigation of the identified risks of the management project. Feasible factors for accessing the projectAs indicated by Artto et al. (2016), every project cannot be made accessed completely, thusthere must be certain factors mentioned that would further help the project to stand stable forthe process of completion. Therefore, for the concerned project management of XYZHypermarket in the cities of Nizwa, Sur along with the Sohar, the factors that furthercontributes for the feasible access deals with the following factors. The availability of therequired resources must be present; there must be ample number of manpower that can befurther applied to the setup planning of the sub branches of XZY Hypermarket. In addition tothe above factors, the resources that are further applied for managing the interconnection withthe head office proves that the concerned project can be accessed if the above mentioned twokey elements are present in the management faculties in order to develop and gain a qualityresult.Page 3 of 18 Scope of the stakeholders involved in the projectThe scope of proposed project deals with the efforts that would be made in order tomanagement the new setup of the sub branches of the XZY Hypermarket in the cities of Sur,Sohar and Nizwa. As the project management evolves round the setup made for new stores, therefore, this setup further involves the collaboration of different stakeholders. However, asindicated by Hiltunen and Henttonen (2016), the stakeholders are the persons responsible forcreating or setting up a new foundation for the benefit of the concerned organisation for theirfuture benefits. The scope marked for the concerned setup project deals with the systemsteam that must be able to monitor different systems from the head office at Muscat. Thatwould further deal with the possibilities for managing and controlling activities from one headoffice rather than visiting the cub branches personally for solving the raised issues. It must benoted that the stakeholders are basically divided in two groups, one dealing with theconstruction and related issues, whereas the other deals with the efforts for making thenetwork connections smooth between the head office and the sub office. Therefore, in order tokeep the flow of the network connections, different stakeholders are involved. TheConstruction Stakeholders are further marked to be the following:Page 4 of 18 Figure 1: Stakeholders for Construction Perspective(Source: Learner)However, from the above-discussed list stakeholders related to the construction areas can becited well. Therefore, the following are the stakeholders that must be listed in order to managethe inter connections of different branches with the head office at Muscat:Figure 2: Stakeholders for Network interconnection(Source: Learner)Thus, from the above mentioned list of stakeholders, it can be further assumed that, with theirpresence, the concerned XYZ Hypermarket can positively access the activities of its subbranches from the head office in Muscat.Specific requirements of setting up a new hypermarket system and their interconnectivityAs indicated by RUEL et al. (2017), for setting up a new hypermarket system along with its interconnected networks, an organisation always lists down certain elements that is furtherrequired to be applied for achieving the desired result. The field related to safety and securityof the collected details and information of an organisation always requires a strong track formaintaining and further avoiding any kind of gaps that may arise due to the lack of propercommunication. In addition to the above collected information, the availability of cyber physicalPage 5 of 18 system tends to collaborate the physical world within a digital framework. Therefore, the roleplayed by the Cyber Physical System or CPS is important for both reconfiguration andtopologies of dynamic aspects. However, by linking the above discussion with the provided case scenario, the concerned setupof new stores requires a strong availability of the internet facilities. These facilities are furthermarked in terms of the following:Finding a suitable building for the quality requirements applied for ISP centre or data: Inorder to manage the suitable building that can further relate the activities being performed inthe individual hypermarket. However, as indicated by Globerson et al. (2016), anywhere andeverywhere can never be selected as the best building for setting up a new store for anyhypermarket. Therefore, the Internet Service Provider or IPS, further deals with the presence ofInternet Network Bandwidth, power resources, cooling equipments along with other resourcesin order to connect properly with the smooth connectivity. Therefore, by linking the case of XYZHypermarket, the above discussed information can be applied easily. That further deals withthe new setup of XYZ Hypermarket in Sur, Sohar along with Nizwa. Thus, before setting up thenew store in any of the above mentioned cities in Oman, the demographic requirements of ahypermarket must be taken care of in terms of the building selections, that would further availthe customers to visit the concerned outlet easily.Purchasing and installing the power backup solution along with other electrical equipmentsunits: In addition to the above mentioned factor, for making a constant flow of activities to thehead office of XYZ Hypermarket in Muscat, the proper utilisation of the above mentionedequipments must be made. However, as commented by Bianchi et al. (2016), the application ofUPS along with other diesel generators would avoid the managers of different sub branches tomake the situation in terms of power fluctuation or outage of the concerned city of new store. Thus it can be further said the functional requirements are marked for attaining the targetgoals and ambition of XYZ Hypermarket.Making arrangements for the bandwidth for up streaming the internet service providers: Incase of XZY Hypermarket, the inter connectivity of each of the sub branches must bemaintained in a smooth flow of networks of the head office at Muscat. Therefore, thePage 6 of 18 application of the bandwidth the internet service deals with the provision of services of internetin an additional manner. As for instances there, may arise situation leading the current flow ofactivities within the market to slower down in terms of quality services. Thus, in such situation, the head office can govern to the easy accessibility of network from Muscat for the area ofproblems that were faced by the concerned branch. Thus, the above explains the resourcesand its requirements for the new setup of stores. Comparing Project methodologies and identifying the best one for this projectAs indicated by Ocicka, and Wieteska (2017), every project deals with the follow up of certainmethods and methodologies. Theses methodologies further helps the concerned organisationto manage their overall functions and activities for gaining attainable profits and benefits inmere future. However, as commented by Surmann et al. (2016), the main methodologies thatgenerally connects to the stability of an organisation deals with their communicational set upalong with the identification of the proper needs. However, as mentioned by MEHEDINTU andMUNTEANU (2016), the certification of proper requirements and needs of the organisationalgrowth further deals with the quantity of workforce, equipments and external resources thatwould be utilised by the concerned firm for establishing their future projects. Therefore, in theprovided case of XYZ Hypermarket, the need for identification is also important as it wouldfurther benefit the concerned firm to stay aware of the resources that would be required in thestrengthening of the overall organization across the country. Moreover, by linking the above discussion with the provide case scenario, the availability ofproper communication must be taken care. That is, the proper flow of communication fromevery sub stores of XYZ Hypermarket to the head office of XYZ Hypermarket in Muscat must besmooth in terms of the applied internet facilities. Being a hypermarket the XYZ Group ofcompanies further focused on the feasibilities of their customers in order to reach out thedifferent sub branch of the XYZ. Moreover, by taking note of the feasible factors in terms oftheir customers or target market, the concerned organisation would be able to identify theissues and their mitigation factors that are faced by the mass audiences in terms of linking as astakeholder for the concerned firm. Page 7 of 18 However in case of the provided case study of XYZ Hypermarket, it has already been mentionedthat the organization wants itself to structure such management system , that would avail theactivities to be controlled and be connected to the head office of XYZ Hypermarket inMuscat. In addition to the above discussion, it has also been mentioned that the head office mustreceive the monthly sales report for every new stores of the three mentioned cities. Asindicated by Vaz and Mansori (2017), the role of communication is vital in order to stick to theconstant development of the catered activities in every industry. Thus, a strong communicationprocess will develop a strong connection between the head office and its sub stores in differentcities. As a result of the above flow of communication any organisation can perform as per theircustomer’s tastes and preferences. In addition to the above collected information, the role played by the managers belonging fromeach city and new store is important. As the managers are the initial reasons for informing thehead office with the day to day activity. Thus the impact of different communicationequipments such as internet modem, telecommunications tools, print medium and other suchmedium being utilised by the concerned firm further contributes for the overall information ofthe catered activities. However, the managers of every new setup store in order to structurethe updates annually makes effort for Work Breakdown structure of the tasks that are toperformed by the new stores for being connected to the main head office in Muscat. •Data Collection •Lessons Learned Completion •Customer Acceptance •Completing Deliverables •Quality Mnagement Execution •Team Motivation •Resource Available •Time Estimation •Allocation of Resource Planning•Work Breakdown •Stakeholder Analysis •Scope Resolution Initialisation •Regulatory Issues Page 8 of 18 Figure 3: Work Breakdown Structure(Source: As per the Case Study)Therefore, from the above mentioned work breakdown structure, it can be further assumedthat the concerned proposal set up of new stores of XYZ Hypermarket in different cities can bewell managed for the constructed work breakdown structure would be followed with care.Figure 4: Gantt chart(Source: As per the Case Study)Figure 5: Network diagram (Source: As per the Case Study)Page 9 of 18 "
