"Assignment Geosynthetics are synthetic products used to stabilize terrain. They are generally polymeric productsused to solve civil engineering problems. This includes eight main product categories: geotextiles,geogrids, geonets, geomembranes, geosynthetic clay liners, geofoam, geocells and geocomposites.The polymeric nature of the products makes them suitable for use in the ground where high levels ofdurability are required. They can also be used in exposed applications. Geosynthetics are available ina wide range of forms and materials. Woven and Non Woven Geotextiles are robust and durablefabrics designed to increase soil stabilization and ground support in a given location. Typically madefrom polypropylene fibers, these geotextiles are high in strength to allow for maximum slope support,stabilization and erosion control. Geo fabric options include a felt-like nonwoven fabric as well as awoven polypropylene geotextile.
